I’ve worked at Port Kells Nurseries from the time I could walk. I mostly work in the office crunching numbers for the business doing a lot of tasks that most people find uninteresting such as shareholders agreements, contracts, sales numbers, expenses, invoicing, payables, etc. but I really enjoy working with numbers. When I’m not doing that I can be seen on the floor helping customers or answering the needs of the day to day operations. My favourite part about working at the nursery is that I get to bring my kids to work with me. I get to see them throughout my working day as they are getting dirty and having fun with their grandparents who started this business many years ago when they were new parents with me.
