Below are frequently asked questions about our hedging cedars.
Size:
Hedging Cedars are measured from the top of the root ball to the top of the tree. This is the most accurate measurement for when it is planted.
A 4-5ft Cedar Tree weighs approx. 100-120lbs.
Planting:
We do not install hedging cedars but recommend that you hire a landscaper to install them.
To plant your cedars you should dig a hole roughly 10-12 inches deep. 1/3 of the root ball should be above the surface of the soil.
Emeralds and Pyramidalis must be planted at least 2ft apart. The excelsas must be planted at least 3-4ft apart.
