Aconitum
Common Name: Monkshood
Aconitum produce three-lobed rich-green leaves on tall stocks. Blooms are hooded and usually a deep blue and are clustered thickly along tall flower spires. Aconitum prefers humus rich moist well-drained soil in a partly shaded area. Excellent for cut flowers. Prefers cooler weather.
Plant Care: Divide every third year in spring or autumn. All parts of the plant are poisonous.
