Common Name: Banana - Abyssinian Banana, Red Banana
Fast growing ornamental banana like, evergreen perennial that is very similar to plants in the genus Musa. It has large paddle shaped reddish green leaves with a deep red midrib. It is a very fast growing plant. This plant is not frost hardy.
Plant Care: Protect trunk and roots with a thick mulch in winter. If in container bring inside garage.
