Clematis 'Multi-Blue'

A hardy deciduous woody vine that climbs by twining stems. Produces dark blue to purple double flowers with thistle-like pronounced centers of yellow green. Prefers sun to partial shade in fertile will drained soil.
Roots should be kept cool (shade with annuals or perennials and/or use a 2" mulch) and uniformly moist.
Plant Care: Apply a generous mulch of well-rotted garden compost around the base of the plant and use a slow-release fertilizer in early spring.
